Handmade Sweeper style, or flat broom, is approximately 36″ from top of handle to bottom of sweeping edge. I crafted this broom with natural broomcorn, forest green colored nylon cord, and a reclaimed wood axe handle. The wood has been sanded down and treated with butcher block conditioner for a smooth yet natural finish. The beaded felt piece is sewn directly onto the cord of the broom, making it very secure. A lobster clasp is hidden in the top of the felt arch, allowing the user to remove or change out the hanging center decoration. Giving you freedom to change out hanging dried herbs or trinkets with the seasons, and the ability to customize the broom anytime. The black felt arch background is adorned with copper stars, swirls, a moon, opaque glass beads, and faux moss. The broom will still look beautiful without anything hanging, if desired. The included detachable decoration is dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks wrapped with jute twine. This broom would be a whimsical addition to any collection or practice.
This lovely broom can be used as a hearth broom, besom, altar broom, or cute decor! Sweep away small debris in your home, or negative energies from your sacred space, with this unique hand crafted broom. Please note, the dried orange slices are seasonal, and not meant to last forever. Even though they were dried and preserved with as much care as possible, they are still a natural ingredient and may deteriorate over time. The intention for the removable decoration is to eventually be replaced by something else of your choosing. It is not recommended to hang anything heavier than the current decoration from the lobster clasp.
